AIQScore™ Responsible AI Charter

At AIQScore™, we believe Artificial Intelligence should empower people, strengthen institutions, and improve society through responsible, ethical, transparent, and trustworthy innovation.

As India's Independent AI Benchmarking & Certification Framework, we are committed to developing, deploying, and governing AI systems in accordance with internationally recognized principles, including:

  • ISO/IEC 42001 – AI Management System
  • NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0)
  • OECD AI Principles
  • UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI
  • EU AI Act (where applicable)
  • India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • Emerging Government of India AI Governance Guidelines

These Responsible AI Principles guide the design, development, operation, and continuous improvement of AIQScore™ assessments, AIQ8™ competency models, AI-powered benchmarking, and certification services.

Principle 1 — Fairness & Non-Discrimination

AIQScore™ is committed to ensuring that AI systems operate fairly and do not unlawfully discriminate against individuals or groups.

We strive to:

  • Minimize unintended bias in AI models and assessment methodologies.
  • Design assessments that are competency-based and evidence-driven.
  • Regularly review AI systems for fairness across diverse user populations.
  • Promote equitable access to AI benchmarking and certification opportunities.

Assessment outcomes are intended to reflect demonstrated competency and are not influenced by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristics.

Principle 2 — Transparency & Explainability

We believe users should understand how AI contributes to assessment outcomes.

AIQScore™ aims to:

  • Clearly communicate when AI is used in assessment or reporting.
  • Explain the purpose of AI-generated scores and insights.
  • Provide meaningful information about AIQScore™ methodologies without disclosing proprietary algorithms or compromising assessment integrity.
  • Distinguish AI-generated insights from administrative or manually verified information.

Users should understand what their AIQ™ score represents and how it is intended to support learning and professional development.

Principle 3 — Accountability & Governance

AIQScore™ maintains clear accountability for AI-enabled decisions and services.

We commit to:

  • Establish governance processes for AI lifecycle management.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of AI systems.
  • Maintain documented policies for AI development, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Assign appropriate organizational responsibility for AI governance.
  • Review and address reported issues related to AI system performance.

Human accountability remains central to our governance approach.

Principle 4 — Privacy & Data Protection

Privacy is fundamental to responsible AI.

AIQScore™ is committed to:

  • Processing personal information lawfully and fairly.
  • Collecting only information necessary to deliver our services.
  • Applying appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.
  • Respecting user rights under applicable data protection laws.
  • Supporting secure handling of assessment and certification data.

Personal information is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Principle 5 — Security & Resilience

AI systems must operate securely and reliably.

AIQScore™ implements safeguards including:

  • Secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Encryption of data in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms.
  • Security monitoring and incident response processes.
  • Regular security assessments and vulnerability management.

We continuously work to improve the resilience of our systems against emerging cybersecurity risks.

Principle 6 — Human Oversight

AIQScore™ recognizes that AI should support—not replace—human judgment in governance and oversight.

Accordingly:

  • AI assists in assessment scoring, benchmarking, and personalized reporting.
  • Human oversight remains integral to policy development, quality assurance, certification governance, and dispute resolution.
  • Users may contact AIQScore™ for clarification regarding assessment outcomes or administrative decisions.
  • Significant operational decisions involving governance and certification remain subject to appropriate human review.

AIQScore™ seeks to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.

We continually:

  • Review scoring methodologies.
  • Improve assessment quality.

While every effort is made to ensure reliable outcomes, no AI system can guarantee perfect accuracy in all circumstances.
