Pankaj Gupta is an academic author, technology entrepreneur, and enterprise transformation leader with over 24 years of global experience across business transformation, finance, governance, shared services, and technology-led innovation. He has worked with leading multinational organisations across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific — designing scalable operating models, automating complex business processes, and leading large-scale transformation initiatives.

He is the Founder of AIQ Score™, established to create trusted, evidence-based standards for measuring AI readiness across individuals, educational institutions, enterprises, government bodies, and the workforce. AIQ Score™ delivers standardised AI competency assessments, AI Quotient (AIQ) benchmarking, institutional rankings, workforce certification frameworks, and AI governance models designed to accelerate India's AI transformation.

Pankaj is also the creator of the AIQ8™ Competency Intelligence Engine — an eight-level AI competency architecture spanning school students to CXOs, aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OECD AI Principles, the EU AI Act, and emerging India AI Governance Guidelines.

During his corporate career, Pankaj led several large-scale global transformation initiatives — including as Operational Controller with General Electric (GE) in Montreal, Canada, leading finance transformation programmes across multinational organisations and delivering industry-first automation solutions for Fortune 50 enterprises. Among his notable achievements was an award-winning Finance Subledger Automation platform for American International Group (AIG), which eliminated more than 13,000 manual journal entries across 65 legal entities while supporting financial operations exceeding US$1 billion.

He also played a leadership role in developing the Finance & Accounting Shared Services Qualification Pack (SSC/Q2302) for the IT–ITeS Sector Skill Council under NASSCOM, contributing directly to India's national skill development ecosystem — experience that informs the standards-driven rigour behind AIQ Score™ today.

Alongside AIQ Score™, Pankaj serves as Managing Director of Paryoma Foundation, a not-for-profit advancing education, health, workforce development, and community impact.

His work today is focused on building AI-powered ecosystems that integrate enterprise benchmarking, education, certification, workforce transformation, governance, and responsible AI adoption — helping individuals, institutions, enterprises, and governments measure AI readiness, benchmark capability, and build future-ready talent for the AI economy.
