Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about AIQ Score™ assessments — pricing, exam format, proctoring, certificates, and verification.

What is AIQ Score™?

AIQ Score™ is India's independent AI benchmarking and certification authority. It measures AI readiness, AI proficiency, and AI Quotient (AIQ) for individuals, institutions, enterprises, and governments using the AIQ8™ Competency Intelligence Engine, with role-specific assessments spanning school students through CXOs.

What is an AIQ (AI Quotient) score?

Your AIQ is a benchmarked score of your AI capability — covering AI literacy, practical tool proficiency, ethics and responsible use, and domain-specific application. Each assessment is domain-weighted for your role, so a banker, a lawyer, and a CXO are each measured against skills that matter for their work.

How much does an AIQ assessment cost?

Pricing is per assessment level and currently ranges from ₹499 to ₹10,000: ₹499–₹799 for student and college tracks, ₹799–₹10,000 for professional tracks, ₹7,999 for leadership and governance tracks. There are no subscriptions or hidden fees.

Is there a free AIQ test?

Yes. The Free AIQ Snapshot at aiqscore.org/aiq-snapshot gives you a quick AI-readiness score at no cost. You can take up to 2 free Snapshots every 30 days; for a full certificate, take a paid role-specific assessment.

How many attempts do I get per purchase?

Each purchase includes 1 assessment attempt. You can start your assessment anytime after purchase. If you want to improve your score, you can purchase a fresh attempt.

How long is an AIQ Score certificate valid?

Certificates are valid for 180 days from the date of your attempt, except the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) and AI Engineer certificates, which are valid for 365 days. Time-bounded validity keeps the credential meaningful as AI capability evolves quickly.

How do employers verify an AIQ Score certificate?

Every certificate carries a unique verification code. Anyone can verify a certificate instantly and for free at aiqscore.org/verify by entering the code — no account required.

Are AIQ assessments proctored?

The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) and AI Engineer certification exams are camera-proctored by default, and proctored Snapshot options are available. For proctored exams, the certificate is issued after proctor review and approval.

What is the exam format?

Assessments are online, timed, multiple-choice exams tailored to your level. Most paid tracks are 90 questions with a 60-minute limit, completed in a single sitting; the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) and AI Engineer certifications run 180 questions in 120 minutes.

Who should take an AIQ assessment?

Anyone who wants a credible, role-relevant benchmark of their AI capability: school students, college students, educators, working professionals (banking, legal, consulting, audit, IT, chartered accountancy, medical, BPO, government), engineers, senior leaders including CROs, CIOs, CISOs and CXOs.

Can organisations benchmark their whole workforce?

Yes. Organisation-level AI benchmarking provides competency distribution, department comparisons, skill-gap analysis, and re-measurable baselines, aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act. Enterprises benchmarking 50+ employees get custom pricing and a readiness dashboard.

What is the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) certification?

The FDE certification is AIQ Score's most advanced credential for engineers who build and deploy GenAI systems. It is a camera-proctored, 180-question, 120-minute exam covering the GenAI stack, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and MCP, priced at ₹10,000 with a certificate valid 365 days.

Who operates AIQ Score?

AIQ Score™ is operated by RYQLEX (OPC) Private Limited, headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, India. It functions as an independent AI benchmarking standard and certification authority.

How is my score calculated?

Scores are computed by the AIQ8™ Competency Intelligence Engine across weighted competency areas relevant to your track — such as AI literacy, applied tool skills, ethics and governance, and domain application — and mapped to an AIQ level with a detailed results breakdown.
